The Perfect Chili Beef Stew

This beef stew is made with stew beef, potatoes, chile powder and a generous sprinkle of perfect spice.

Ingredients Needed

½ LB Beef Stew Meat.
4 medium potatoes cut into 1-inch pieces
1 medium onion, coarsely chopped (3/4 cup)
2 cans (14.5 oz each) diced tomatoes with zesty mild green chilies
1 3/4 cup beef flavored broth (from 32 oz carton)
1 tablespoon chili powder
3 teaspoons ground cumin
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
Generous sprinkle of The Perfect Spice Original or The Perfect Blackening Rub

Cooking Instructions

1) In 3 1/2- to 4-quart slow cooker, mix all ingredients
2) Cover; cook on Low heat setting 9 to 10 hours

If diced tomatoes with zesty mild green chilies are not available, use plain diced tomatoes and add a 4.5
ounce can of Old El Paso® chopped green chilies
Garnish chili with sour cream, shredded Cheddar cheese and fresh cilantro
